About the game

You are the head coach. Not a player, not just a GM.

The coach on the sideline calling the shots. Every snap, you read the defense, pick your play from your hand, and watch your units implement it.

Every play is a decision. Your deck is your playbook. Spend tokens on the big-swing calls or save them for the grind. But lean on the same play too often and the defense catches on — the game punishes predictability.

Build a program, not just a run. Start on Friday nights in high school. Recruit, develop your units, and level your coach up. If you're up to the challenge, take the promotion to college ball, then the pros. Move up and take your new team to success — your coach profile carries everything: levels, your coaching XP, the plays you've mastered. Your knowledge compounds while your roster and opponents change. Manage yourself, your team and your plays, and then you can experience the victory.

Completely new way to play football

Layer by layer

Every snap is a read.

Pre-snap, the defense shows you a picture — the shell, the box, the front, the pressure. Some of it is true. Some of it is bait. The smarter your quarterback, the deeper you see: rookie QBs get the shell; veterans sniff out man-or-zone before the ball is up. Trust the read and check into the right call, or get caught holding a screen pass against a coverage that eats it alive.

  • Disguised coverages that lie to bad quarterbacks and confess to great ones
  • A limited audible budget — burn your checks early or save them for the two-minute drill
  • Token-limited play calling: your best calls cost resources, so every series is a budget decision
  • Plays that beat man, plays that beat zone, and defenses that know which is which

Three leagues, one coach

Coach a whole career.

Start on a Friday-night sideline. End — maybe — holding a pro trophy. This is not a run you restart; it's a career you live with.

  • Three leagues, one career: high school, college conferences, and a pro league with divisions, full schedules, and playoffs
  • Promotion is your choice: dominate and move up, or stay and build a dynasty where you are
  • Every game in the league is really played — rivals win, lose, rebuild, and peak on their own cycles; check the standings, the schedule, and your coaching record
  • Build your program: a five-branch Coaching Tree, training and medical staff that keep your roster on the field, injuries that test your depth chart, and development calls that turn three-stars into cornerstones
  • Your history follows you: season records, program milestones, and the players who came through your building

The mechanics

How a snap works.

Both hands are dealt face up. You can see the cards the defense is holding, and they can see yours, but knowing what they can call still leaves you guessing what they will.

A card is one play, and everything you need is on the face: run or pass, the thing the defense is trying to guess; a rating out of 100, on the same scale as your players; a token cost, three a drive, so your best calls can't be your every-down calls; and the matchup it's built for — screens eat blitzes, deep shots punish an empty middle.

The anatomy of a play card: run or pass, a rating out of 100, a token cost, and the matchup it is built for.

Then your roster runs it. The card says what to call; your players decide how well it goes. The same inside zone is a survival play behind a rebuilt line and a weapon behind a veteran one.

The same play card run by two different rosters, with two different results.

Both cards flip and the snap lands somewhere: stuffed and you're back a zone, short and you got nothing, gain and you're a zone closer, big play for two, explosive for three — the most any single snap can move the ball.

Two snaps

Same defensive call. Different read.

Same defensive call both times — a Run Blitz, eight in the box, coming downhill. The only thing that changes is what the offense does about it.

Inside Zone into the Run Blitz — the defense wins

You ran at the one front built to stop it. No crease, the back is met at the line, and you're backed up with a down gone.

Stuffed Zone 2 to Zone 1 Inside Zone run into a Run Blitz: the back is met at the line for a stuff.

Play Action into the same Run Blitz — the offense wins

You showed run, they bit, and everyone they'd need in coverage is coming downhill instead.

Big play Zone 2 to Zone 4 Play Action against the same Run Blitz: the defense bites and the offense breaks two zones.

One card beat that blitz and one card fed it. The ratings barely moved — the difference was the read.

The field is five zones and an end zone, and a series is four plays. Scoring is something you assemble: a touchdown is a run of good calls, and the drive you remember is the one where you won three reads in a row.

The field as five zones and an end zone.

The playbook

Your playbook is your deck.

Build your playbook like a coach installs an offense. Earn new plays as your career grows, and rep the ones you trust — plays gain mastery the more you call them, and a play your team has mastered hits harder than one you installed on Tuesday. Scout the opponent's tendencies, check the matchup screen, and bring the right game plan to the right opponent.

Every call costs. A per-series token budget means your best looks can't be your every-down looks, the personnel you declare changes what you can afford, and your audibles are a finite resource you can burn early or save for the two-minute drill.

Football, all the way down

If it matters on a real sideline, it matters here.

Two-point decisions after a late touchdown. Safeties when a stuff goes wrong deep in your own end. Victory formation when you've iced it — or a handshake from a coach who knows you have.

If you know football, this game was built for you.
